Did you know that just like humans, cats can be left or right handed.
Maru and Hana’s human decided to put this to the test and set up an experiment to determine which was the dominant paw of these two delightful kitties.
Here’s Maru and he’s got a new bed. In fact, it’s clear bowl-shaped bed and it looks like he’s gonna have bags of fun in it.
See the way he loves to dive into it and roll around, he’s taken to it like a duck to water!
It’s a lazy afternoon and Hana has found the perfect place to relax, so comfy that she begins to drift off. But what is this sack-like thing in the middle of the room?

Maru and Hana have been given a new game.
At first they are intrigued by the toy and stare vaguely at the bobbing heads before them.

We know that Maru loves boxes and will try to get himself into all of them no matter what the shape or size. He’s a very determined kitty even when it’s obvious that the box is too small for him. In this video we see him in a box that is really too small, how does he manage to fit in? Watch till the end and all will be revealed!
We haven’t seen Maru for a while and here he is being funnier than ever!
I’m not sure what this large roll of paper is for, perhaps a backdrop for a photo shoot or maybe someone in the house is a budding artist. Whatever the reason Maru is no stranger to it and he instantly sees it as a source of fun and games…

For the first time I think, we see Maru and Hana venture outside and they spend some time hanging about in the red leaves of autumn and exploring the trees.
I love watching the antics of Maru, he never ceases to amaze me and along with Hana, is a constant source of entertainment.

They are always a joy to watch and never seem to get bored of each others company as they are constantly playing pranks on each other and getting up to mischief…..
Maru definitely has his own special way of getting into things.

Maru and Hana are enjoying afternoon tea together. And it’s their favourite, Matatabi tea, which is basically Japanese catnip.
I guess you could call this “high” tea without the cakes and biscuits !!

Maru never ceases to be entertaining when it comes to his obsession with boxes. Here we see that he already is in a box, but what does he do when he’s confronted by another box? Maru’s human says: “I knew that Maru was in the box already, but I gave him another box.” You can see

Maru’s back and as well as showing us his love for all things ‘box’ he’s letting us know that he has a great sense of humour.
Hana doesn’t know quite what to make of Maru’s latest antics, he really is a very special kitty.
At first, I couldn’t quite work out which bit was Maru! Hana appears to have gained some weight is totally covering Maru, he seems to enjoy it as he doesn’t move a bit and just lets Hana get on with the job in hand.
I think these two has a very special relationship, don’t you?
Maru and Hana are making bread!
Well that’s not actually true but they are kneading, you know that thing that cats do when they are feeling happy and safe, which goes back to when they were little and still feeding from their mother.
We’ve seen him many times before showing us his determination to get into the smallest of boxes but today he has something else in mind.
A mixing bowl has been left on the floor and as usual Maru is straight in there seeing how it fits! The bowl looks like it’s way too small for Maru but he holds fast to that classic cat saying ‘If I fits, I sits!”
