I think we are all aware that cat videos play an important role in cheering people up and making them laugh, but would we pay to go and see them at the cinema when there are already so many great cat videos doing the rounds on the internet for free?

The popularity of cat videos is being debated at This Way Up conference in Manchester and some cinema chains think the growing trend of this genre could convert to profits at the box office.
