World Records Held By Cats!

Is your cat exceptional or extraordinary?

Have a look at these 6 amazing cats that have earned themselves a place in the Guinness World Records.

1. The record for the longest cat is held by Stewie, from Nevada and he is a staggering 48.5 in long.


2. Colonel Meow, a Himalayan-Persian cross-breed holds the world record for longest fur on a cat, it reaches 9in.


3. Next we have loudest purr by a domestic cat and this is held by Smokey from the UK, he hits 67.7 dB.


4. Stewie (who we saw in No1) also holds the record for the longest tail, measuring 16.34 in.


5. The world record for the cat with most toes belongs to Jake from Canada, who has 28 toes – 7 on each paw!


6. And lastly here is Creme Puff, from Texas, who holds the record for the oldest cat. He lived an amazing 38 years and 3 days.
