Madison Ellis is a junior at the University of Florida and is currently studying to be a veterinarian.
She is obsessed with animals and is currently raising eight cats, five dogs, and a pig – most of them are rescues.
She cares for all the pets herself along with a bit of help from her mom whom she lives with.
The latest addition to the family is a 2 month-old kitten that she named Cinderella, or Ella for short.
Madison rescued this kitten when she almost ran over her on a dark road one night.
Ella is a funny little cat and Madison says that she’s not scared of anything.
She likes to chase the dogs around the house and often teases the other cats who are probably three times her size.
Because Ella is still very young, Madison feeds her special kitten food in a different part of the house to the other animals.Â
One of her other cats, Jesus, she describes as being very clingy. Madison rescued Jesus after finding him under her house:
“He’s a very sweet cat and loves to be carried around the house while I clean and cook.”
Since Madison has many animals, she feeds the other cats in the bath tub to stop the dogs from getting at their food.
Ella felt left out and wanted to join in and so she hopped up into the bath all on her own.
Rebecca thought it was a photo moment but Jesus was jealous and all she got was a shot of a very angry kitty!
Madison thought the photo was hilarious and decided to share it on Twitter. It went super viral because people totally fell in love with the jealous kitty.
“If you’re a pet owner you know there’s no wrong time to take a picture of your pets,” she said.
I guess you could say this is the animal equivalent of an older sibling getting jealous of the new baby!
