This is such a sweet story. Sterling the Pit Bull has been with his mom since he was just four and a half weeks old.

He had already gone through a rough patch before his rescue so his mom made sure he got extra love.

Bethany is Sterling’s mom and had no idea that this pup would be capable of making such great changes. With her love and help, Sterling transformed into the sweetest, most confident dog.

“He was so small. I was bottle-feeding him regularly,” she told The Dodo. “He had giant scars across his chest and legs. With lots of work and love and training, he has become so sweet and loving.”

Bethany has always had a passion for animals and their well being. She has given a lot of time to rescuing, fostering and adopting from all kinds of situations.

Sterling likes to help too and has been big brother to the many foster kittens that have passed through their house.

One day, she found a tiny kitten in a parking lot so she scooped him up and brought him home.

When Sterling was introduced to the little kitten for the first time, he instantly fell in love with tiny new foster friend, later named Lux.

This new addition also won the heart of Bethany’s two year old daughter, Sterling’s other best friend.

They love playing and doing every possible thing together all day long.

Bethany watched on as the time went by and saw how much the two animals bonded.

Sterling didn’t want the kitten to leave so he persuaded her to adopt the foster kitten.

So, after careful thinking, Bethany added Lux to her family of “foster fails” and he is now a fully fledged member of the family.
