The Inspiring Tale of HarPURR, the Paralyzed Cat with a Warrior Spirit

Have you met HarPURR, the kitty warrior?
This cat is an unstoppable force of nature, whether he's climbing a cat tree or zooming around in his custom-built cart!
His Instagram page is all about inspiring, advocating, educating, encouraging, and demonstrating compassion - this kitty has a real mission in life!
But HarPURR's beginnings were far from easy.
He was found all alone in Alaska, freezing and starving, abandoned by his mother when he was just 3 weeks old.
Poor little guy couldn't even move his hind legs and had trouble eating on his own.
Luckily, some kind rescuers took him to a local shelter, where he received round-the-clock care.
Volunteers fed him every 2-3 hours for several weeks until he was nursed back to health.
And everyone could see that despite being paralyzed, HarPURR was a real fighter!
With all the challenges to had to overcome, but you wouldn't believe how positive and determined he was.
This little guy's warrior spirit was unbreakable!
HarPURR was a total cuddle-bug right from the get-go.
This little guy just loved to snuggle up and get cozy in his purrito!
The volunteers at the shelter gave him all sorts of snuggly toys to play with and even brought him a "snuggle buddy" comfort companion for him.
And then he met Shannon.
She runs Mojo’s Hope Rescue, a non profit organization for animals with special needs based in Anchorage, Alaska.
Shannon saw the potential in this little fighter and decided to take him under her wing, fostering and nursing him back to health.
She already had 3 rescue dogs, and one of them, Cinder, quickly became HarPURR's best friend.
"In my home, I have three cat-friendly pups, with Cinder being the magical soul who is the most beautiful of mentors," explains Shannon.
She wanted to make sure that HarPURR had plenty of socialising time with other animals, so his relationship with Cinder was critically important.
Who said that cats and dogs don't get along?
As he slowly but surely recovered, HarPURR was introduced to his custom-built cart, which allowed him to explore the world around him.
There was no stopping him now!
And then he met his new feline friend, Lady Purrl
Like HarPURR, she also had special needs.
It didn't take longHarPURR and Lady Purrl to bond and they became inseparable.
They started having all sorts of adventures together.
Which includes hanging out in the tub!
And then it happened! FOSTER FAIL!
With everything they had been through together, Shannon fell in love with this special kitty and decided to make him a permanent member of her family.
Now, at 4 years old, HarPURR is full of life and energy.
He even has his own Instagram page with over 35,000 followers
"Every moment with HarPURR is purrecious," shared Shannon on Instagram.
His special needs don't define him, but they do make him stand out in the best possible way!
Things couldn't be better for HarpuRR.
Surrounded by his friends and a wonderful family. He is living his best life.
