Can you imagine what it would be like to be under constant surveillance? To have a pair of eyes staring down at you from the ceiling? Well that is exactly what’s happening with this shop owner.

Recently SCMcrocodile posted pictures on Twitter of the modifications that a friend of his had made to his shop. The ceiling of the shop is suspended and in place of some of the ceiling tiles she had fitted some glass panels so that his kitties could keep an eye on their human and see what was going on in the shop during the day.

We all know that cats can be curious creatures, there is of course the saying “curiosity killed the cat,”– although I sure hope that has never happened, but the curiosity of these kitties knows no bounds.

It’s obvious by the photos that these kitties love to hang out and keep a close eye on all the customers and of course making sure that their human is okay, it’s like having your own purr-sonal spy window!

They may be purr-fect surveillance team for their human, but they want to be paid for their trouble and apparently if he doesn’t feed them exactly at the right time they can kick up quite a fuss. Like for example, finding a roll of toilet paper, destroying it into little pieces, and spreading it all over the place.

As you can see there is photographic evidence:

Needless to say, the photos went viral on Twitter, amassing over 188,200 likes and more than 72,000 retweets with the numbers still steadily rising. It would appear that the old ‘ceiling cat’ meme has come back into play and will soon be doing the rounds again.
