All Jacque wanted was someone to love him, but instead, this three-year-old kitty kept getting rejected. When he was 7 months-old, his first human moved away and decided not to take Jacque with him. Thankfully, the founder of Michigan Cat Rescue spotted Jacque and saved his life, she immediately saw how affectionate this kitty was.

As soon as she opened his cage, he jumped onto her lap and laid down, but what would be a great attribute to most people ending up being the reason Jacque was abandoned once again.

The team nursed Jacque back to health so it was time to begin the search for a new home, but this time they were a lot pickier. And that day finally came. Liz and her husband sent in an application to adopt Jacque and then set up a time to meet him.

Liz and her husband headed to the shelter and instantly fell in love with him. Jacque jumped onto his new dad’s lap and started to purr. That was it, they decided to adopt Jacque and with his new life came a new name: Guiseppi! He loves his new life and always has a lap to sit on.
