This is Kieran, a domestic shorthair rescue cat who was painfully afraid of most things when his human adopted him. With time and clicker training he has become more confident and less afraid of people and his surroundings.  Positive reinforcement training with a clicker is force-free training making animals eager to perform their behaviours of their own free will.

In this video we see Kieran (with his buddy Romeo) demonstrating a number of tricks that he has learned and he is continually expanding his repertoire and although some of these appear to be the same, from his point of view each behaviour is exclusively different.

What an amazing kitty!

Here’s a kitty with a lot of talent for agility training!
