I think that all humans could all learn something from this amazing story about a fox and a stray cat.

When a photographer started taking photos on a rocky beach in Turkey, he never expected to see what he saw.

It was a sight that would make anyone’s heart drop.

He noticed a fox hunting down what seemed to be a stray cat, a site that would horrify any animal lover.

But after a while he realised that this wasn’t the case, and that something else was going on.

In fact, these two animals weren’t fighting at all – but what was going on?

As it turned out, what the photographer was witnessing was just two friends hanging out together and as most of us know from our own pets, this involved play fighting.

He then went on to see them settle down peacefully sharing their meal, which was a fish. I wonder who actually caught it?

This alone is quite incredible, can you imagine? Two animals that are usually enemies sharing their food.

Once they had finished their food they started playing again, running up and down the beach chasing each other just like real friends do.

It was clear to the photographer that these two really did know and care for each other.

Then both of them took time out, taking a quiet moment together to relax in the sunshine, just like good friends do.

I think we could all learn something from this amazing relationship.

When you film wildlife, you never expect to see animals like this playing together like friends, but that’s exactly what happened!

How wonderful he was able to record this unique friendship. Imagine being able to share dinner with someone that is supposed to be your enemy – amazing!
