The Kitten Pounce

Obviously our domestic cats owe a lot to their wild forebears and relations. In fact, there’s been an amazing series on TV in the UK about that over the last few weeks (‘Cat Watch 2014’ if you can find a way to view the BBC from where you are – worth it, it’s great).
I was reminded of that when I saw this lovely video of a kitten called ‘Buttons’ playing with her ‘dad’. It’s so clear to see that all this kitten play is training and practice for hunting. In this case it’s all play and fun but the wild cat lurks within!
