Maru and the Round Rice Cake Box

Maru the cat has a very unusual way of celebrating the coming of the New Year.

In Japan, they have a traditional round cake decoration made of rice around this time of year and our lovely feline friend is far more interested in it’s box than what was inside. I must say he doesn’t look too comfortable in there and he doesn’t seem to mind too much when his human decides to put the decoration on his head!

Maru sure is one chilled out kitty.
