Mother Cat Adopts Orphaned Hedgehogs

These darling little hedgehogs have unfortunately lost their mother, but then along comes Sonya the cat. We have seen many times before how mother cats will take on and tend after another species along with her own brood, the mothering instincts show no prejudice.

Sonya has only one kitten to care for so she readily accepted the role of foster mother to 4 baby hedgehogs, nursing and caring for them like they were her own. Cats really are amazing creatures aren’t they.
