When Marlena was scrolling through her Instagram she spotted a tiny black kitten that no longer had the use of her back legs.

As a foster parent to little kittens she knew this fur-baby needed her help.

Her previous humans couldn't cope and decided to surrender her to animal control rather than seeking help.

So that was it Marlena decided to take the kitten on and she what she could do to help her.

When they both arrived home Marlena realized that (now named) Raven was a lot smaller than she first thought and took her to the vet to see what could be done.

After a ten minute consultation with Raven she said that she was fully paralyzed and recommended euthanasia.

Marlena was mortified as the vet explained that cats such as Raven have no quality if life, she refused to accept this so asked the vet what she needed to do as there was no way that feisty little kitten was being put to sleep.

So Marlena took her home, this sassy kitten had plenty of life in her and there was no way that Marlena would give up on her.

A week later she took Raven to see a feline specialist with the hope that some physical therapy wold help with this feisty little black kitten's condition.

After a full examination he said that the chances of her regaining some use in her legs was slim to none.

But this didn't deter either of them and a short while after Raven managed to scale up Marlene's leg. And then she climbed to the top of the scratching post.

Marlena knew that Raven had come a long way and it was now time to find her a forever home.

Then along came Michelle, Marlena knew that she would be perfect fit for Raven.

She knew that she would miss Raven very much, and as a foster mum, it's always difficult to let go.

But it was time for Raven to start her new life in a perfect forever home.
