Pregnant Stray Cat Arrives on Doorstep Every Day to Find a Home for Her Kittens

A stray cat appeared on the doorstep every day, waiting patiently until the kind homeowner gave her some food.

As it was cold outside the homeowner sought help from a local rescuer, Nadia, who offered to take her in.

She decided to take her to Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a rescue group in Canada, where a foster family were waiting to take her in.

But there was one thing that nobody realized, she was pregnant.

And now the cat, newly named Laloue, is loving her new life in her foster home where she gave birth to four healthy kittens.

She is very attentive to her babies, she keeps them neat and clean and her purring engine is running constantly because she really enjoys being a mother.

Mama Laloue trusts her foster family completely and allows them to hold her babies and intervene to help her out when she needs a break.

Two weeks down the line and the kittens are eating well, gaining weight, and are opening their eyes.

It sure was a lucky day for this once stray cat that wandered the streets looking for a friendly doorstep.

Her new owners decided to take her in just as she was about to give birth to her litter of kittens.

It always warms my heart when I hear successful rescue stories and to know that when ready, her four kittens will be adopted into loving homes.
