For many people, the idea of going for a walk with a cat in a cat stroller might seem just a little odd. Others wouldn't dream of leaving their kitty behind, so a cat stroller makes perfect sense.
The truth is that one of these cat carriages can actually make your life a lot easier, particularly if you find cat carriers cumbersome and need (or want!) to take your cat places frequently.
Cat strollers aren’t just a fun way to safely give your feline friend some fresh air. Used correctly, these tools can also be a great choice if you want to take your pet to the vet or travel with your cat. Indeed some of our favorites (as you'll see below) double up as carriers and even cat safe car seats.
Some cat lovers are sometimes keen to take their cat outdoors more often. If that's your aim, then you could even combine the use of a pet stroller with a cat harness to give your kitty access to more interesting locations without risking their wellbeing.
So, in this group test, we’re giving you the lowdown on the best cat strollers on the market and what makes them so impressive. And yes, some people do go jogging...with their cat!
The overall best cat stroller is the Pet Gear 3-in-1 Travel System View 360 Stroller.
It came out as the winner in this group test because it's a high quality product made by an expert company who specialize in strollers. Plus, it is very popular in our cat owning community - who rate it as reliable, hard-wearing and stylish.
But, it has a trump card (that it shares with our Premium pick) which is that it also works as a car seat to keep your cat safe on car rides and is also a detachable cat carrier. Because it's a pet stroller with detachable carrier you're getting the best of three worlds in one purchase!
We delve a lot deeper into what makes this the best pet stroller for cats in our full review below, but it's a deserving winner.
3 Top Cat Stroller Picks - Best, Value & Premium (plus Best Double Stroller)
When we were looking to find the best pet stroller for cats we turned to our resident cat walking expert, Holly, who you'll see in the video of our Premium pick below.
She's tried a lot of pet strollers, so her input into this goup test was invaluable. In the end, her personal preference was for the luxury cat stroller from HPZ, but she also recommended both our Value and Overall picks.
In addition to buying and testing the strollers, we also relied on our community of cat owners. We have a vast audience on our social media channels (over 1 million followers), so we regularly reach out to them get their valuable and real world experience input for our tests. After all, they certainly know best and many of them regularly walk their cat in a stroller!
So here are the top selections recommended by our testers, cat stroller owners, our resident expert and our vet advisors and also our favourite double stroller. (And, if you're looking for more double cat strollers, then scroll to the bottom to find those, but bear in mind that most of these strollers have room for two - if they get along!).
So that chart gives you a quick overview of our favourite cat strollers in our test.
This group test is a very long one because we delved into the details on all these cat strollers. They are expensive to buy and you want to know you're making the right choice, so we'd recommend looking at all the ones we tested below before making your decision. And, don't miss the double cat stroller picks at the bottom of our list if you need room for two!
To start with, here are our in depth reviews of those 3 best cat stroller picks (and you'll find the best double pet stroller in a section at the end of the reviews).
1. Pet Gear 3-in-1 Travel System View 360 Stroller - Best Overall
It was a very close call for an outright winner in this pet stroller test between this and our Premium pick, but this takes the Overall best crown because it’s a standout product and just a little better value.
That said, if you are fine with spending another $100 then HPZ, our Premium pick, is well worth looking at as well.
It’s also no mistake that Pet Gear have a total of four pet strollers in this test. They are experts at making this specific type of cat carriage and have one to fit every budget. The top of their range is the one that we give the highest rank.
The Pet Gear VIEW 360 Pet Stroller Travel System 3-in-1 Carrier wins because it has unparalleled versatility. This stroller effortlessly switches from a carrier, to a safe car seat, to a stroller in no time at all. The detachable basket is a game-changer, as it allows you to go from stroller to carrier instantly and keep your cat secure, especially during car rides.
If you are looking for a high quality and stylish cat stroller with detachable carrier then this is the one to go for.
As a safety feature and to make it easier to get your cat in and out, this Pet Gear stroller doesn’t use the common zipper designs but instead uses an innovative clip closure system. This ensures your cat is secure and safe. The addition of the seat belt locking feature when used in the car only increases the safety level, offering peace of mind during cat road trips.
The VIEW 360 is also reassuringly high quality. It feels and looks to be robustly built, which makes it feel premium and durable. The 360° swivel wheels make turning easy. One thing with room for improvement though is its folding mechanism. Although it is a collapsible stroller, it would benefit from a locking system to prevent it from unfolding unexpectedly, but that’s nitpicking!
This stroller has a spacious design, which will even have room for larger feline friends with ease. There’s also a soft washable removable pad, but we always add a favorite blanket on top, just in case…
The VIEW 360 also has a lot of visibility for your cat (hence the name) thanks to its mesh design. They get a panoramic view, making their rides all the more entertaining.
One thing to note is that, if you're on the taller side, you might want to be mindful of your strides to avoid accidentally kicking the stroller's frame. There’s also a foot brake there – which is great to have – but we did occasionally kick that too whilst walking.
To wrap it up, the VIEW 360 Pet Stroller Travel System 3-in-1 Carrier, with its blend of functionality, safety, and quality, truly stands out in a crowded market. If you're in the market for a pet stroller with a detachable carrier at a reasonable price, we recommend this.
It’s our overall pick for good reason.

2. Pet Gear No-Zip Happy Trails Lite Pet Stroller - Best Value
It was no surprise during our testing that Pet Gear would also get our vote for best budget cat stroller.
As we've already said, Pet Gear are experts at making pet strollers and this one, at half the price of their View 360 above, does the stroller part of the job pretty much as well.
Where it differs from the View 360 is that it doesn't double up as a carrier and car seat, but at this price that's pretty much impossible to do. It does though still offer the same no zip design as well as great forwrad visibility for your cat with a similar mesh window.
So, the Pet Gear No-Zip Happy Trails Lite Pet Stroller is one of the more simplistic stroller designs we tested, but it still stands out as an excellent choice for today’s pet parents, and at this price, we rate it's build quality and ruggedness.
We tested it when jogging and it performed pretty well. Runners often opt for 3-wheel strollers for lightness and manoeuvrability, but this Pet Gear performed reasonably even though it doesn't have air filled tyres. It is narrower than a lot of strollers we tested at just 17 inches, and that definitely helped when jogging. Lower down in this test we also look at Pet Gear's double pet stroller for jogging that takes this suitability up a few notches.
Weighing only 25 pounds, this is easy to move around and transport whether your cat’s inside or not.
The Pet Gear stroller quickly folds down when not in use, and it comes with plenty of space for your kitty to sit and view the world as you walk.
The mesh ventilation ensures breathability, while the 6-inch wheels offer a smooth ride.
As a budget pick, you can trust Pet Gear to still have made a very solid and reliable product so we have no hesitation recommending it.

3. HPZ Pet Rover Prime 3-in-1 Luxury Cat Stroller - Premium Choice
The HPZ Pet Rover Prime 3-in-1 system is so good that our YouTube reviewer, Holly, bought her own, before we did this group test – she loves it (and so do her cats!).
As we said already, it’s a close run thing between this HPZ Pet Rover and our Pet Gear overall winner as they have very similar functionality and features, but this HPZ is about $100 more expensive. That means it's the most expensive cat stroller with detachable carrier that we tested - but it's remarkably good!
That extra money has been spent on some additional features that the Pet Gear doesn’t have, including height adjustable and reversible handle, oval tubing for better strength, and dual brakes, to name a few.
But, it does all the things of our Overall pick and does them just as well and perhaps even a little better. It doubles as a carrier and a safe car seat so it has that dual use (well triple use) covered as well.
Then, of course, there’s the design. Does the HPZ Pet Rover look even better than the Pet Gear? Maybe – at least it does to us (well, Holly) and you can tell that this is a luxury cat stroller, whilst also being one of the most practical and well made that you can buy.
On the move, the foam-filled rubber wheels, the anti-vibration spung front suspension and the easy-access (front and rear) brakes all add up to give a smooth ride for your cat and an effortless steer for you.
There’s a zipper enclosure to keep your cat safely ensconced, and two leash straps inside the carrier can be used to anchor your cat if you have them in a harness or leash collar.
The stroller has weather-resistant fabric that just needs a quick wipe to remove any marks. There’s also a machine-washable carrier bed removable pad for maximum kitty comfort.
Now, addressing the elephant in the room - the price. Positioned proudly in the premium segment, it will cost more than $250, a sum that might initially raise eyebrows. However, dig deeper into the host of features it offers, paired with a lifetime warranty and superior build quality, and it quickly starts to look like a worthwhile investment.
To wrap up, the HPZ Pet Rover Prime 3-in-1 Luxury Pet Stroller is more than just a cat stroller. Those added uses make it a do-it-all carrier-cum-carriage and, if your budget allows, this is one to splurge on.
If it’s good enough for Holly and Meister, it’s got our vote!

Some Additional Top Cat Stroller Picks
We do understand that the above three picks may not be quite suitable for everyone and all pet owners have very individual needs.
So, below we have reviewed some additional strollers that we also had on test that may suit your needs as well, including three that are billed as double cat strollers.
Providing multiple alternative picks is also an important part of our research and testing process.
Our third Pet Gear stroller in this group test - and that just goes to show in what high regard our testers and our community hold all the strollers made by this company.
The Pet Gear NO-ZIP Happy Trails pet stroller is essentially the Pet Gear mid-range model (costing less than the View 360 that is our Overall winner) and is just a really good stroller - doing without the 3-in-1 functions.
But, it's the pinnacle of their easy to use, no zip design and has all their expertise built in to its comfortable ride (with shock absorbers) and high visibility mesh.
A great option for any customer new to the world of cat strollers, the Pet Gear NO-ZIP Happy Trails pet stroller is easy-to-use, attractive, and durable.
What makes this product particularly appealing is its easy-locking entry system, with no zipper required.
There’s an extra-wide carriage, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride for all kinds of cats.
The spacious internal carriage also comes with a set of safety leash tethers, which you can attach to your cat’s harness, and a fantastic plush bolster pad for comfort.
The canopy material is of impressive quality and water resistant which helps to protect your kitty in any weather conditions.
There’s also a set of 12-inch Gel-filled tires for easy movability, with a quick-locking foot brake. Another Pet Gear winner!

Cons
Another cat carriage worthy of your consideration is the mid-range offer from the same company that give us our Premium pick.
Sharing many of the build qualities of that top of the range model, this Rover Lite does without the detachable carrier and car seat functions and focuses instead on being a premium quality high perfroming stroller.
The HPZ Pet Rover is a fantastic cat stroller for pet parents searching for a lightweight device they can easily fold away and store when not in use.
The travel carriage comes with state-of-the-art fabrics and hardware to ensure excellent durability and longevity.
With the HPZ pet rover, you can also access a one-hand quick folding and unfolding mechanism for easy storage.
The convenient expandable pet compartment in the HPZ pet rover offers patented front and rear expansions to allow the compartment to move from 13 by 13 inches to 13 by 27 inches.
There’s a retractable bowl holder, so you can feed your kitty on the move and two tethers to secure your pet using their harness or collar.
The machine-washable carrier pads are great for cleaning too.
If you like the premium quality of HPZ and don't need the detachable carrier then their Rover Lite is a great choice.
Pros
Cons
Beautifully well-designed, this SKISOPGO pet stroller for dogs and cats is the mid-range offering from another company that also specializes in both dog strollers and cat strollers.
It's all they make, and they are expert at it, with a range that runs from budget to premium, and includes a three-wheeler pet stroller specifically for jogging with your pet.
But, the one we picked and tested here is the sweet spot from SKISOPGO and is the best quality budget option from any brand if you are looking for a pet stroller with detachable carrier.
As you can see from our Overall and Premium picks, we are big fans of the 3-in-1 models, especially when they can also be used as a cat safe car seat, like this one.
In many ways this model has all the features we've raved about in our top picks, but at a much lower price.
This comfortable and safe solution for pet transportation comes with a secure no-zipper compartment, enhanced with breathable mesh design windows and plenty of comfortable padding including a removable pad.
As we've said, the 3-in-1 system includes a carrier, car seat, and stroller, with storage basket cup holder, which is suitable for cats weighing up to 30lb.
All four wheels are set up in pairs and they rotate 360 degrees and we found it was easy to manouevre across all types of ground including gravel.
Aside from being attractive and versatile, this cat stroller is also surprisingly easy to set up in just a few minutes.
You can fold the system away for storage and, of course, remove the carrier from the stroller body.
The downside is that the overall quality of construction and feel of the materials is not as good as our top picks.
At this price, that isn't a surprise as costs have to be saved somewhere (for example the wheels and fabrics are just that bit cheaper in materials and feel), but they are still hard-wearing and gennerally attractive. It doesn't feel 'low rent'!
If you need a cat stroller with removable carrier and pass on our top picks, then this is an excellent cheaper option.

7. Dkeli Pet Stroller Jogger Folding Travel Carrier - Best Cheap Pet Stroller
We’ve already picked a value or budget cat stroller in our ‘Best 3’ at the top. But, if you don’t want to take that recommendation and are really after the cheapest pet stroller for cats then we’d go for this Dkeli Folding Travel Carrier Stroller.
Now, we’re not absolutely sure, but we think this is one of those products that is made in China and is sold under a whole bunch of different brand names who slap their logos on them. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, it just means you might see what looks to be exactly the same thing with different names.
And, most importantly, while this really can’t be compared to our Overall and Premium picks in terms of build quality and longevity, and we’d go for our ‘Value’ pick over this every time if funds allowed, there’s no denying that, for the money, this ain’t that bad.
Perhaps not a resounding recommendation, but also it’s definitely not a ‘no’!
The Dkeli stroller is spacious enough to accommodate medium to large pets, so pretty much every cat will fit. It’s rated to be able to carry 30lbs and the construction seems reasonably solid even though the aluminium frame is thinner than most of the others we tested.
One upside of that narrow tubing is that it’s light to push and carry around and folds easily and is very compact and light when folded.
It does have mesh windows at the top and front, a padded base, 360° swivel front wheels and rear brake wheels. We found it easy and light to push, but the ride on the hard wheels is less smooth and it didn’t do as well on rough surfaces as the competition. It was mostly OK, but did struggle on gravel and mud!
While you wouldn’t expect the Dkeli to match the quality of higher-end models like the Pet Gear, it's an option for those looking to get their cats outdoors for the least cash outlay (often as low as $30!).
Just be sure that you weigh the cost benefits against potential issues like the wheel material and maybe durability.

The Best Double Cat Stroller - 3 Top Options
While we've already delved deep into seven of the best cat strollers, those were all designed for a single cat. However, there's an intriguing category we haven’t covered yet - the double cat stroller.
If you're blessed with two or more feline furballs, cat strollers for 2 cats allow you to take both your cats on outdoor trips, and both of them get their own secure space. So, while one cat is enjoying the view, the other can snuggle in a private space below, or side-by-side.
Now, it’s true that many of the cat strollers we’ve already looked at do have room for more than one cat – especially if your kitties aren’t especially large. But they’ll be in the carrier area together with no separate area. For many cats that will be absolutely fine. But if they don’t get along….
And, if your cats are on the larger side, you’ll also want to look at the double pet stroller options.
Also, choosing a double cat stroller might not just be about your cats. Owners often find the double stroller to be a practical solution, because the extra compartment can double up as storage.
But what types of double strollers are out there? Well, while some maintain the traditional two-compartment style – one above and one below – others offer side-by-side designs, just like a twin baby stroller. The choice will often come down to your cat's size, weight, and your personal preference.
We’ve only picked three of the best to test. That’s mainly because most cat owners really can make do with a single stroller and it’s only those with larger cats who might need one of these.
But we also found two of these to be excellent choices, one of which is, in our opinion, the best double decker cat stroller, whilst the third is a solid, but very cheap option.
8. Ibiyaya Double Decker Pet Bus Stroller - Best Double Cat Stroller
If you’ve got two cats and want a double cat stroller that has a separate compartment for each, then this Ibiyaya Double Decker Pet Bus stroller gets our top recommendation.
The Double Decker design cleverly splits the cabin over two levels so that each pet has its own personalized space. It can comfortably carry a cat of 13 pounds up top and a hefty 33 pounds in the lower space.
Quality and durability is all first rate. The Ibiyaya stroller's frame is lightweight and the cabin combines tough polyester fabric with a breathable, scratch-resistant mesh.
Thanks to this mesh, both your pets get a wide field of view and can feel the breeze, but each have a roll down curtain tom protect against harsh winds and chilly weather. It’s a full four-season mobile home-from-home for your pets.
Both the bottom pad and the cabin fabric are removable, machine-washable, and easily cope with accidental spills or muddy paw prints.
The one-hand foldable mechanism makes it easy to fold and store away or pop into your car trunk.
Out and about, the 360 degree rotating wheels, which are lockable, cope well with most surfaces, but since they are a solid wheel they aren’t suited to anything too rough. That’s probably the main downside that make this double carriage best suited to paths or smooth park lawns.
This Ibiyaya Double Decker Pet Bus is a thoughtful blend of design, convenience, and durability. If you’re a two cat outdoor household we rate this as your best pick.

9. Pet Gear NO-Zip Double Pet Stroller - Best For Jogging
Here’s the fourth time we’ve turned to Pet Gear in this group test. Let’s make this simple – if you’re after a cat stroller for jogging, then this is the one to get whether you have one or two pets! (Although they do also do a smaller one for single cats as well).
This Pet Gear Double pet stroller has a wide carriage which means that your two pets have ample room to lounge. The cabin area is a full 27 inches by 20 inches. There’s no separation, so whilst it’s definitely made for two pets, they need to be on good terms!
The ‘NO-ZIP’ technology means there’s no tug and pull that you get with traditional zippers. A simple push button lets you access your cats without any zip struggles!
Every part of this stroller screams top-tier quality. The sturdy frame is covered in a 600-denier water-resistant material that’s long lasting and highly weather resistant. Your pets get a panoramic view window so that they get a great outward view. But, if the weather takes a turn for the worse there’s a simple roll down weather cover for additional protection.
This stroller is especially suited for jogging because of the largest wheels of all the strollers on test which have full air-filled pneumatic tyres. This makes it excellent on all terrains and able to be pushed at speeds that the others just can’t compete with, as well as making it very easy to steer accurately.
This is one of the few to have an elevated paw rest, allowing your cats to prop up and peer out. Storage is also super easy thanks to the one-hand fold mechanism, and when in use, the lockable wheels make sure it stays put when parked up.
There’s a few possible negatives though. Given its larger than average size, it's not the most suitable for tight spaces or small store aisles. It’s also comparatively heavy and that weight is something to consider if you’re planning to lift it in and out of a car frequently. Nonetheless, these are minor compromises for the go anywhere ability it offers you and the comfort it offers your cats.
This Pet Gear NO-ZIP Double Pet Stroller is a an excellent mix of design, practicality, quality, durability and comfort. If you have a couple of pets or simply a larger one who loves extra space, this stroller is a top contender. And if you want a pet stroller for jogging (whether with one pet or two) this is your pick.

10. Dkeli Double Pet Stroller Jogger Folding Travel Carrier - Best Cheap Double Pet Stroller
If you want the really cheap option, but need a double pet stroller, then this from Dkeli is your best bet.
What we said above about the single Dkeli cat stroller holds true for the double. You cannot expect this to have the same standard of materials and build quality as the strollers costing five or six times as much.
If your main aim is durability and longevity our advice must be to go for one of the two double cat strollers tested above.
However, if you’re after a double decker cat stroller for occasional use and you’re not going to push your furballs around on rough ground then we’d expect this Dkeli double decker stroller to be up to the job. Our only concern would be its long-term resilience.
As we said for the single version, you might also find this exact model sold under a variety of brand names.
So, the Dkeli double stroller is an acceptable, budget-friendly choice for those with two pets. It can carry up to 35 lbs, has mesh windows for your cats to look out. It's very easy to open up and use, has brakes for safety and cup holders for you! It has a removable pad inside and is made of waterproof material. Its easily big enough for two larger cats to have room to lounge in each of the cabins.
Setting it up is quick and we found it to be light and easy to push, even with two cats inside, although we didn’t go on rough terrain.
But, let’s be clear, it could be better. It needs something to keep curious cats from jumping out and a way to hold the top flaps down on windy days.
The stroller is often priced as low as $50. It might not last as long as expensive ones, but if it’s all you need it’s easy to make a case for it at this price.

Cat Stroller Buyer's Guide
When you start looking into buying a cat stroller, you'll find there isn't a 'one size fits all' answer. Most pet strollers will suit single cats while others are designed for two (or more) pets.
The space inside, how it folds, wheel types, and the materials used are all factors that differentiate all the various models available.
If you're looking for a budget-friendly option, there are strollers that won’t burn a hole in your pocket, but that will still do the job and be value for money. Our preference is to go for one of the specialist brands, even at the budget end of the market (we like this from Pet Gear), but there is still a place for the very cheapest options such as those from Dkeli.
However, it’s an obvious fact that a lower price might mean a trade-off in terms of long-lasting durability, features and overall quality and fitness for purpose.
On the other hand, if you're able to invest a bit more, there are several brands whose products come with all the bells and whistles.
These can include things such as detachable and multi-use carriers, systems for easier access and better pet safety, better build quality, or larger air-filled pneumatic tires ideal for jogging or rough surfaces.
Key aspects to consider are the size of the stroller's cabin (or cabins), especially if you have more than one cat. We’ve already said that most of the strollers designed for a single pet can actually house two cats in a single cabin.
Strollers with wider carriages might be perfect for two cats, but they can be a pain to fit through doors, tight spaces and shopping aisles. Being able to get to your cats without a struggle, usually through a simple opening mechanism, is another feature that you’ll quickly realize is important if you don’t have it! Good brakes are also a must so that your stroller will stay where you leave it when parked.
You should definitely be looking for a quality, strong well-sewn weather-resistant material, especially if you’re likely to take your cats outdoors when it might rain. A lot of mesh for your cats to see out of and in a panoramic view window is a big bonus so that your cats get the most out of their strolling, but these should also have some kind of attachable weather proofing as well.
Our main advice is that if you’re going to use your cat stroller a lot and you expect it to last and you know you might use it off paved roads then spending more is definitely worth it.
The best brands will cope in all terrains and are well built and made to last. The top of the range options will also offer you that multi-use system so that they also work as cat carriers and cat car seats, which is a big advantage.
If, though, you want a simple stroller for occasional and light use, then the budget options might suit your needs, but we’d still try to go at least mid-range to ensure that your pet stroller lasts through long term use.
Cat Strollers - What Exactly Are They?
Cat strollers are essentially the same as child strollers, but they’re designed especially for your feline friends.
Pet strollers are a convenient way to transport your pet when taking them outdoors, going to the vet or visiting a friend.
These tools can also be useful for getting your kitty outside if they have movement issues due to surgeries, arthritis, and joint pain.
Some simply look like kitty crates on wheels, while others are designed to look similar to a baby stroller, with plenty of cushioning, padding, and convenient storage pockets.
Most of these products come with durable mesh screens, windows, and see-through doors, so your cat can enjoy looking at the world as you walk.
Plus this also allows for adequate airflow.
Why Should You Buy a Cat Stroller?
Like most pet accessories or fancy pet carriers, a cat stroller might not be necessary for every pet owner.
If you rarely need to take your cat anywhere, and they don’t demonstrate a need to go outdoors often, you and your cat can probably get by without a stroller.
However, if you’re trying to safely expose your kitty to the outdoor world without allowing them to wander into dangerous situations on their own, a cat stroller can be an excellent investment.
These products are also appealing to pet owners who know how stressful it can be to try and get their kitty into an uncomfortable carrier every time they’re going to the vet.
Strollers place less strain on you, as you don’t have to carry a large weight in one hand.
This also means traveling is more comfortable for your pet because they’re not getting knocked around as you carry them and if you go for a stroller with a removable carrier you've actually got a complete cat travel system.
What to Look For in a Cat Stroller
Just like all pet carriers, safety and comfort are the most important elements to consider when shopping for the right cat stroller.
Most high-quality products have an internal tether inside, which means you can attach your cat to the middle of the stroller using a cat harness.
This allows pet owners to open durable mesh screens on windows and doors for their kitty without allowing them to escape.
A good cat stroller also needs to have plenty of internal space for your kitty to move around, lay down, have good airflow, and sit comfortably while you walk.
Some of the most important features to prioritize when you’re buying a cat stroller include:
Depending on how you plan on using your cat stroller, you might also need to consider things like airline approval and a cover for it to go in the hold, so you can take your stroller with you on a plane trip.
Is a Cat Stroller Right For You?
Cat strollers are intended for specific purposes. If your cat is a stay-at-home feline who only takes the occasional trip in the car to your local vet, then a cat stroller isn’t necessary.
However, you may be well suited to a cat stroller if:
Frequently Asked Questions:
Do cats like riding in strollers?
It all depends on your cat.
If you introduce your kitty to the stroller slowly and start with small trips outside, you should find your kitty gets used to using a stroller quite quickly.
If your cat is nervous in the stroller, you might need to consider another mode of transportation.
How do I get my cat to stay in the stroller?
Start slow, allowing your kitty to investigate the stroller gradually and on their own terms before you fasten them inside.
When your cat is comfortable inside the stroller, try walking around with them in the product inside before you go outdoors.
Use the tethers inside of your cat stroller to fasten your cat into the device with their harness.
You can then zip up the compartment to keep your kitty secure.
Are cat strollers safe?
As long as you know how to use them correctly, cat strollers should be very safe and convenient.
Using a stroller is much safer than taking your cat out with no additional accessories.
Is it a good idea to take two cats in the same stroller?
This will depend heavily on the relationship between your cats.
Most cats will be a little nervous when using a stroller initially.
If you have a stroller designed for a single cat, there may not be enough space for both kitties to move and stretch out when they’re travelling together, although for most average sized cats there will usually be room for two.
If you've got larger cats or they don't get along when confined in a space together, then you'll be looking for a double cat stroller to let them have separate spaces.
No matter what, don’t use a cat stroller that also functions as a car seat for more than one cat.
Is it weird to use a cat stroller?
It might feel a little odd at first, but you’re not treating your cat like a baby – you’re just making them easier to transport.
Using pet strollers as you carry your kitty down your local sidewalks is often much easier than carrying them in a crate.
Many cat strollers also come with convenient extra features like cup holders.
Are cat strollers a good idea?
Cat strollers can save you a lot of time and effort when transporting your cat and are a great way to let your cat enjoy the outdoors safely.
Though not everyone will appreciate this kind of product, strollers are often an easy way to get your kitty outside safely, or take them to the vet.
Cat Strollers: The Verdict
Cat strollers might seem like a quirky investment for some cat owners, but they can also be extremely useful.
If you want to take your kitty outside safely under a durable canopy, or you’re looking for a convenient way to get them to the vet, a cat stroller can be a great product.
Our favorite stroller is the Pet Gear 3-in-1 Travel System View 360 Stroller for its great build quality, amazing ease of use, all round functionality, triple use as carrier and car seat and reasonable price.
It's a great cat stroller!
