Meet Cookies & Cream and Caramel!
They were found abandoned in a parking lot with their four siblings.
A kind man had heard their cries in the parking lot and found them abandoned in a box, so he reached out to Sparkle Cat Rescue for help.
One of the foster volunteers of the rescue, Sarah Kelly, agreed to take them in until they were ready to be put up for adoption.
Sarah nursed the kittens back to health and they all grew in leaps and bounds.
Cookies & Cream (CC) and Caramel (Cara) had an inseparable bond, so Sarah knew that they needed to be adopted together.
This calico pair do everything together, when it’s nap-time they nuzzle down in a comfy bed with their arms and legs wrapped around each other.
All of their siblings have now found forever homes, but seven months after they were found in the parking lot these delightful sisters are still waiting for a place to call their own.
At Christmas time, Sarah even helped the them write a letter to Santa asking for a forever home.
“Cara and CC are so patient to have waited this long,” explained Sarah. “It’s frustrating how these young, sweet kittens will be overlooked for smaller ones.”
“While they may not be as tiny as the next small kitten, they are just as loving, special, and deserving of a forever family of their own.”
The calico sisters are often seen hanging out by the front door watching the day go by.
Let’s hope that soon their forever family will come walking through that door.
