Souprise

The Lick ‘n’ Lap Snacks from Vitakraft are probably their most popular product. They were definitely a hit with our own cats! Portioned into easily squeezable tubes, the low-calorie treats come in a range of styles and flavors to suit your kitty. 

Available in a pack of 5 or 20, the lick ‘n’ lap snack comes with added taurine, and can be given directly as a treat, or added to the top of your cat’s existing food.

Notably, all of the Lick ‘n’ Lap products from Vitakraft are completely free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. They’re also designed to be low in calories, and easy to use. However, we did find the jelly version to be a little less messy than the creamy treat. 

Lick ‘n’ Lap Cat Snacks: Pricing

One of the biggest benefits of the Lick ‘n’ Lap cat treats is how affordable they are. Each snack option is available in either a pack of 5 or a pack of 20, depending on how much you want to “stock up” on your kitty’s favorite treats. You can also purchase each of these items from a range of well-known retailers, including Amazon, Chewy, PetSmart, Petco, and Pet Supplies Plus. 

The traditional “Lick ‘n’ Lap” Snacks will cost you around $10-$11 for a case of 20, and around $4-$5 for a pack of 5 servings, so it’s definitely worth stocking up if you can to get the best ‘per portion’ price. The smooth and gourmet jelly variations of the products are around the same price, but you might pay slightly extra for the gourmet jellies, depending on where you shop. 

Perhaps the biggest problem we found with the pricing of these treats is that it might be “too low”. Retailers are constantly running out of stock, so you’ll need to make sure you act fast if you want to grab some of the “Lick ‘n’ Lap” snacks for yourself.

Perhaps the main thing we loved about the Lick ‘n’ Lap Snacks from Vitakraft, is how much our cats enjoyed them. Our kitties are absolutely obsessed with these treats, to the point where they’ve tried to tug them out of our hands before we’ve even had a chance to get them open. Even if you have a relatively picky cat, these treats are almost guaranteed to be a hit.

Ultimately, it’s hard to argue with the benefits of any treat that makes our cats go as crazy as the Lick ‘n’ Lap snacks. Clearly, Vitakraft knows exactly what cats want from a low-calorie, healthy treat. 

Not only do you get to enjoy your cat’s purring when they’re lapping up these delicious treats, but you also get the benefit of knowing you’re not serving them anything which could be problematic to their health. The Lick ‘n’ Lap treats are totally free from artificial ingredients, and low on calories. 

Of course, there are a few minor downsides. These cat treats do have quite a strong smell, but that’s part of what makes them so appealing to your pet. At the same time, they can be a little messy if you’re using the creamy “gravy-style” versions, so keep that in mind. 

Ultimately though, we think these treats will appeal to all kinds of cats. They’re definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a healthy and affordable way to treat your pet.
