Introducing Hosico - the undisputed king of fluffiness!
This enchanting kitty has an astonishing two million adoring fans on Instagram, and it's easy to see why.
With his dreamy blue eyes (or are they teal?) and cheeks reminiscent of a hamster's, Hosico has captured the hearts of countless admirers from all corners of the globe.
But let's rewind a bit and discover how this captivating Scottish Straight cat ascended to the throne of cuteness.

We spoke to his human parents, Roman and Ksenia, a couple with a deep love for cats.
They decided to welcome a new addition to their home after their 15-year-old Siamese cat, Misha crossed over the rainbow bridge.
After some extensive online searching, their hearts were stolen by none other than the furry charmer we now know as Hosico.
As fate would have it, when Hosico first arrived at his forever home as a tiny, golden ball of fur, he brought with him an unexpected surprise – a family of fleas!
Undeterred by this initial setback, his doting humans immediately sprang into action, ensuring Hosico's every need was met and those pesky fleas were banished.
With their unwavering care and devotion, Hosico transformed into a pristine and magnificent fluffy prince.
Once he felt entirely at ease in his new surroundings, Hosico began to display his playful and quirky personality.
His favorite pastime? Squeezing into bowls, baskets, and boxes with delightful determination.
After a spirited play session, he would pause, lock eyes with his adoring owners, and let out the most endearing chatter.
"It's the cutest thing," Roman fondly recalls, "he sounds so hilarious, almost human-like."
When it came to naming this extraordinary feline, Roman and Ksenia's daughter had a brilliant suggestion.
Fascinated by Japan and its rich culture, she proposed the name Hosico, which translates to "Star Child" in Japanese.
Little did they know that this name would become synonymous with feline stardom.
With an ever-expanding fan base on social media, Hosico's popularity skyrocketed.
In fact, he was honored with a nomination for The Animal Star of 2020, a testament to his worldwide acclaim.
His devoted humans shared their journey, saying, "When Hosico was little, he was so cute and funny that we decided to share his photos on Instagram.
Little by little, more and more followers joined the Hosico fan club, and now he's loved by the whole world. Everybody likes that he's gold and fluffy."
As for his appearance, fans often draw delightful comparisons.
For some, Hosico is a living embodiment of Garfield, while others see shades of Puss in Boots from the beloved 'Shrek' series.
Some even affectionately liken him to a squirrel or a giant hamster!
However, despite his widespread fame, Hosico remains a rather quiet and reserved fellow when it comes to strangers.
At the sound of a doorbell, he promptly dashes off to find a safe hiding spot.
Like all cats, Hosico is bursting with energy during the magical hours of dawn and dusk.
His agility and speed during impromptu sprints and jumps make it nearly impossible to capture on film. It's all part of his enigmatic charm.
While he may show initial excitement for new cat toys, it doesn't take long for Hosico to grow weary of them, typically within a week.
His enduring favorites? Sheets of paper and the tantalizing allure of a simple piece of string.
In true regal fashion, Hosico exclusively uses his litter box and reserves his claw-sharpening activities for his designated scratching post.
However, there's one delightful quirk to this dignified feline – his penchant for meddling with houseplants
To appease his leafy desires, his humans make sure to regularly provide him with cat grass.
When it comes to dining, Hosico enjoys a diet fit for a king.
He indulges in a menu that includes baby food, featuring delectable options like beef with pumpkin, zucchini, and chicken with buckwheat or rice.
Additionally, he eats dry cat food and receives a serving of beef or turkey fillet every other day.
As for his other past times, he occasionally embarks on outdoor adventures, transforming his walks into grand events on his feline calendar.
These excursions allow him to connect with nature and indulge his curiosity.
From his humble beginnings as a flea-bitten kitten to becoming an internet sensation, Hosico, the king of cuteness, has captured the hearts of admirers worldwide.
With his regal charm, charming antics, and captivating presence, Hosico reigns supreme as the undisputed monarch of fluffiness, a true star in the feline realm.
