Kitten season is here!

It sounds like heaven doesn’t it, because after all, who doesn’t like kittens.

But in reality kitten season is the time of year when animal shelters are flooded with homeless kittens because there are not enough people making the decision to spay or neuter their cats.

We see in this video that at the San Diego Humane Society 24 hour care is needed for the hundreds of unwanted kittens that arrive at their door.

Cole and Marmalade’s human dad Chris says: “The easiest way to help reduce the overwhelming numbers of unwanted cats is to spay and neuter your own cat and encourage others to do the same.”

More sound advice from Chris in this video.
