Backwards Cat! Why Does Kitty Do This?

Here’s a cat that has a very strange habit!

His human says: “Our cat, Sparta aka “The Mean Kitty”, has some strange habits, but this one may be the weirdest of them all. He intentionally walks himself to the end of our stairway banister, then backs himself up slowly to retrace his steps. He doesn’t jump, he’s not scared of heights and there’s no real reason for him to walk the banister. It’s weird but also quite funny!”
