This is just unbelievable!
A couple that work with Hope For Paws were approaching Los Angeles in their car when they received a text about a kitten on the fast track lane in the opposite side of the freeway.
It took them 45 minutes to get to the rescue location.
They had to park illegally, but safely, opened the windows for the dogs that were travelling with them and ran about 200 yards to the spot where the kitten was laying down.
Once ready, they broke onto the freeway and stopped traffic completely!
Not knowing the kitten's state of mind, they decided to approach from both sides to stop him running away.
Their plan worked perfectly, and all the people in their cars were really happy to see them save the little kitten, now called Napoleon.
The couple said:
"The little guy was sick, had an eye infection, he was so skinny, and I just have no idea how he could have made it to that side of the freeway... he was too weak to move, and there is just no way he could have crossed 6 lanes of traffic alone... someone must have done it to him!"
It breaks my heart to know that are people capable of doing such a thing.
Thankfully Napoleon is now in good hands, getting all the care and attention he needs.
He's even got a new friend to play with and soon both of them will be up for adoption and will get their forever loving homes.
