Mango is a rescued bird, found by chance by her humans 1 yr ago on the roof of their building. She was exhausted and it was thought she would have not survived on her own so they took her in. They knew there would  be risks as they had a kitten and of course cats prey on birds. So they introduced them to each other carefully, like an experiment.

And it worked! Largely because their cat, Ponzu, was tolerant and had a mellow nature. They spend a lot of time together and Mango loves to go for rides on Ponzu’s back. But this relationship is still quite odd, special, you could say an exception to the rule. Please note that if you are contemplating a cat-bird pet duo, you must understand the odds, do thorough research first, and consult professionals.
