Jan Travell

Jan is a lifelong cat owner and a feline expert. She's been on the Cats and Kittens team from the very beginning and, as lead editor, writes all our heartwarming stories about cats.

She lives in rural France with her family and currently has two cats, Tigerlily and Mr.Gee. Her senior kitty, Ducati, passed over the rainbow bridge recently at the ripe old age of 22.

All of her cats have been rescues who've found their way to her and enriched her life.

As well as her passion for cats, Jan loves to potter in her vegetable garden and enjoys singing in a local blues band.
