This isn’t something we can say for most of the cat food products on the shelf today. Almost every brand and recipe of cat food has been recalled at some point. So, the saftey of the Nom Nom Now cat food, up to that point, was assured.

However, in July 2021, there was a Nom Nom cat food recall.

According to the company, no illnesses in cats have been reported to date, and the recall was entirely done as a precuation.

The NomNomNow team explained, “The recall is being initiated as a precautionary measure and in keeping with our commitment to food safety. This is our first recall in the six-year history of our company and the result of a recall by one of our suppliers of human-grade ingredients.”

All the signs indicate that this was a very small batch of one of the cat recipes. The Nom Nom Now customer service team were very quick to act, and, as far as we are aware, no cats were at risk.

This, of course, is a reassuring sign of the quality of the recipes made by Nom Nom and of the attention they keep on making sure everything is safe for your cat.

Nom Nom Now Cat Food - What's On Offer?
