We all love to have a cuddle, it’s a way of expressing ourselves.

We use it to show our feelings to our loved ones, parents use it to make their children feel safe and we cuddle our friends to show them we care.

But there are also scientific reasons behind cuddling because when we cuddle our bodies release a hormone called Oxytocin that makes us feel good, helps boost our immune system and can also relieve pain.

Also, did you know that the closer you get to your cat physically, the better your immune system can be.

This is because you are regularly exposing yourself to small amounts of pet dander and other allergens, these things help you fight seasonal allergies, asthma and pet-related allergies.

For your cat, cuddling also provides immune-boosting super powers! Yay! I hear you say.

This is because spending time with their human makes a cat happier, and this will lead to a longer, healthier life for the feline member of your family.

So by making time for your cat every day, you are improving their health and vitality.

All in all, I think it’s safe to say that most species cuddle for the same reasons we do but our kitties do it the best!

So check out these 25 incredibly cute pictures of cuddling cats that will definitely give you that feel good factor.
