Blind Kitten Wants to See His Mom

This awesome story shows how a kind man changed the life of a blind kitten.

One day a man discovered a stray mother cat and her kittens were living in his back yard.

On closer inspection he noticed that sadly, one of the kittens had something covering his eyes.

It looked like a big scab and because of this the kitten can’t find his way to his mother’s milk.

So the man decided to put out some wet food because he looked very scrawny, but without his sight all the other kittens found the bowl and chowed down except for him.

The kitten then lost his way, bumping in to everything around him, this was no surprise to the man as the scab was completely covering the little ginger kitten’s eyes.

The kind man noticed that the mother cat was calling him but this poor kitty didn’t know which direction to go.

So he decided it was time to call in an expert to rescue and help this tiny ginger kitty.

Mother cats are always very alert and are obviously very protective of their children, so capturing the kitten was not an easy task.

They used aromatherapy herbs to relax the mother and eventually she becomes more relaxed and moves away from her kittens to lie on a pillow full of herbs.

The vet now has the chance to rescue the little one and begin his examination. The infection is bad and the vet carefully peels off the scab to discover that the kitten’s corneas are seriously damaged.

The only thing to do now is to take him to the surgery to better determine the situation and see whether surgery is necessary.

The vet decides to use a process that can regenerate the cornea and if this works the little ginger kitten will be able to see you again.

He has to stay at the clinic for a few days to recover and allow the medication to work.

Meanwhile the kind man realises that the cat family have disappeared since they took the ginger kitty away.

But luckily he finds them not too far away in another area of his yard. Once again this is the mother cat being protective of her brood.

Their new home is very dusty and dirty so the man decides to clean it before going to pick up the ginger kitty and reunite him with his family.

He puts down some food and begins to clean while the family are eating.

With help from his friends he manages to clean up their new home and put in a large cage which hopefully will become their “bedroom.”

He even leaves out some toys for them, this man really does care.

The little kitten is finally reunited with his mother and through blurry vision this is probably the first time he has ever seen her.

The man will continue to administer the medication for as long as necessary.

Because of the actions of one kind man, this kitten now has the chance to lead a normal life and his family are being looked after and cared for even though they will probably remain feral.

But for now, the man is happy that he has managed to make a small difference to the well-being of this feline family.
