Cat in a Hat Goes on Snowy Adventures With Her Mom

Meet Lava, the adorable feline traveler and explorer, who's living her best life alongside her loving human mom.
Lava's early days were quite an adventure.
As a tiny kitten, she and her siblings were left in the woods, but a kind-hearted Good Samaritan came to their rescue.
Thankfully all of the kittens found their forever homes with loving humans, and Lava's new mom couldn't have been happier to welcome this furry friend into her life.
Lava quickly proved to be the perfect travel companion and a delightful addition to her mom's Christmas tree, thanks to her tree-climbing skills!
Her curiosity about water led to some fun splashy escapades, all thanks to her adventurous mom's encouragement.
But, of course, Lava had a purr-fect plan and first honed her kayak skills indoors before taking on the open water.
Although Lava enjoyed kayaking, she discovered that swimming wasn't her favorite activity, maybe because she felt like a big, mighty beast in her own mind and that image doesn't work when you're soaking wet!
Lava is also a skilled hunter and refuses to be tamed by a leash, always embracing her wild feline spirit.
Despite her fierce exterior, Lava has a heart full of love for her devoted mom.
However, she's a bit shy around strangers and prefers early morning walks away from crowded areas.
Her mom says: "Lava loves her outdoor time and she wants out almost every day despite the temperature. That is what we’re used to living here. Snow and cold doesn’t stop her eagerness to get out for a while."
So accompanied by her mom, Lava embarked on an incredible journey from Northern Sweden through Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands, exploring new places and making memories.
This adventurous furball enjoys exploring in all seasons and has a wardrobe that could put even the most stylish humans to shame. She likes to walk in a cat harness and leash and, when she needs a rest, she hops into the best cat backpack.
"Lava loves the outdoors, so to keep her happy and warm she has her coats and hat to wear and on really cold days she also has some heating in her backpack."
Her winter caps are particularly adorable, and they keep her sensitive ears protected in chilly weather.
"Before she got her first hat she got frostbite on her ear once, although we were only outside for like 15 minutes and I had heating in her backpack. It even was a beautiful sunny and calm snowy day, but too cold for her ears…"
"So cats are not made of steel just because they have fur. They can freeze too, and low temperatures can be a risk for them."
So getting dressed up is essential in the cold weather and from the look of it Lava really enjoys her outfits that keep her cozy and safe.
But Lava doesn't just explore the outdoors; she's also a passionate house explorer, discovering cozy corners and even raiding the refrigerator!
From her humble beginnings as an abandoned kitten to her current status as a heart-stealing cat explorer, Lava's journey has truly transformed into a heartwarming tale.
I'm sure these devoted companions will continue to have many more adventures together.
