A beautiful and rather unique seal-point Persian cat that resides in The Nederlands.
Yohji's journey began somewhat serendipitously when Kim and Wouter stumbled upon a photograph of him in a Craigslist advertisement for a litter of kittens.
The ad stated that Yohji came with his own set of unique challenges, labeled as "birth flaws," making him a cat with special needs.
Yet, it was these very imperfections that they found endearing, sparking an instantaneous bond that transcended any perceived imperfections.
Kim and Wouter reflect on the moment with heartfelt warmth:
"Discovering Yohji among a litter advertised on a Dutch version of Craigslist felt like fate. His described 'flaws' only drew us closer to him, compelling us to welcome him into our family."
"For us, adopting Yohji wasn't just about bringing a pet home; it was about extending our family."
Yohji's charm and unique character have not only captivated Kim and Wouter but have also captured the hearts of over 137K followers on Instagram.
It has become a showcase for Yohji's vibrant personality, from his cuddle-filled moments of affection with his owners to his energetic escapades around their home
His two front teeth, the resilient duo from past dental battles, jut out with pride, contributing to his distinctive underbite.
Yet, this unique dental arrangement doesn't dampen his spirits; instead, it enhances his endearing allure.
His distinct meow and the peculiar shape of his whiskers add to his allure, making him a beloved online feline celebrity.
"One might assume eating poses a challenge for him, but that's far from the truth. His appetite is robust, and he manages his meals with ease," they shared with We Love Cats and Kittens.
Despite facing health challenges, including a recent dental surgery that necessitates a special diet, Yohji's spirits remain undimmed.
Kim speaks of him with unabated affection, describing him as a "happy little lad" whose love for life is infectious.
His unique appearance, characterized by big blue eyes, unusual whiskers, and an underbite, coupled with his expressive nature, makes him a constant source of joy and laughter.
Yohji transforms even the simplest activities, such as sipping water, into a comedic performance.
For him, hydration without a hint of fun is unthinkable. Thus, the traditional water bowl fails to pique his interest.
However, introduce a kitchen faucet or a shower into the equation, and he's all in!
Beyond his quirky drinking habits, Yohji delights in chasing bubbles and engaging with an array of objects.
From bags and boxes to cat toys and, surprisingly, vacuum cleaners - a rarity among felines, as he not only tolerates but relishes the company of the household vacuum.
At a glance, Yohji's stern facade might suggest a grumpy temperament, yet the reality couldn't be more different.

Yohji now lives solely with Wouter, but it's true to say that both his and Kim's dedication towards this delightful kitty goes beyond the care they have provided.
