Rescued Kitten Grows Up With A Dog By His Side

We have always been led to believe that cats and dogs are natural enemies. This is definitely not the case with Mochi and Meeko.

Mochi is a 2 year old rescue cat and Meeko is a 4 year old Corgi and they are the bestest of friends.

When Meeko was almost 2, his owners rescued Mochi, who they found outside their apartment complex with his siblings.

“It took about a month for them to be fully comfortable around each other,” explains their human. At first, when Mochi was just a tiny kitten, they were both cautious and took their time to bond.

“They’re best friends when they want to be. Occasionally they’ll annoy one another and chase each other around,” their human, Tung Le, told The Dodo.

But of course, anyone with a best friend, or a sibling for that matter, knows that annoying each other is a crucial part of the relationship.

It didn’t take before Meeko and Mochi were getting along great, here they are in an epic staring off contest

They love sharing a blanket…

And watching the world outside together

They have secret meetings under the furniture

And plot world domination in their pillow fort

They are BFFs and it looks like they always will be
