It’s true you know, two cats are always better than one and this wonderful collection of pictures is the proof.
There are many reasons that having more than one cat in the family can be beneficial, and I don’t just mean for us mere humans. It can be good for your kitty too.
At the same time, it’s also true to say that not every cat wants to have a friend, especially when they’ve been the only cat in the house for sometime.
But every cat is different in my experience. When we introduced a kitten to our 8 year old, she was totally indifferent at the start, then she seemed to be annoyed by his presence and we thought we’d make a big mistake.
It took about 8 months for her to chill out and now they are firm friends and have even been known to have the odd grooming session!
I guess the only way to be sure of feline harmony is to adopt two together that you already know will get along.
