Blind Cat Demands A Shower Every Day And His Fur Family Help Him Dry Off!

Say hello to Blinkin!

This remarkable kitty doesn't let his blindness hinder his zest for life - especially when it comes to his favorite pastime, showers! 

This miniature panther also thrives in the outdoors, delighting in little adventures in the backyard.

He adores hanging out with the flowers...

And that's because gardening is another of Blinkin's joys. So much so, that he has a particular plant that he longs for whenever he's away from home.

He first came into Melissa's life when she received a call from her mom who'd just found a tiny kitten...with no eyes.

He was about 5 weeks old and she knew she had to help - that was 2 years ago.

"And what an amazing, rewarding, laugh-filled two years it’s been. I cannot imagine not having Baby Blinkin as a part of our home," she shared.

Blinkin loves his family and he cherishes playful moments with his furry siblings.

Whether it's a spirited game of chase throughout the house or a thoughtful brain game where everyone waits their turn patiently.

But the real highlight of Blinkin's day? His shower time!

This charming black cat shares a unique bond with water that most cats would envy. "Oh look, mom, there's water in my bowl!" he seems to say.

However, nothing compares to the invigorating joy of a morning shower - sometimes as early as 3 am! 

His canine sibling Bear Dog can only look on in disbelief at Blinkin's unusual antics.

Melissa, their mom, puts it best: “Blinkin is an equal opportunity showerer. Inside, outside - it doesn't matter where, as long as there's water!” 

Once he steps out of the shower, his adorable assistant Wicket is always there to hand him a towel.

Wicket came into Blinkin's life when Melissa realized it would be good for her black panther to have a companion.

And she was right! They hit it off immediately.

Wicket will patiently linger just outside the shower, eagerly awaiting the moment Blinkin stepped out.

Once his buddy emerged, Wicket would trail behind him, and together, they'd embark on a mutual grooming ritual.

The duo share an unmistakable bond. Wicket took special care to clean the hard-to-reach spots that Blinkin, with his unique needs, might have missed.

This grooming session would often serve as the prologue to a joyous chase, as Wicket playfully pursued Blinkin throughout their home.

Both cats are incredibly affectionate and love to shower their human mom with adoration.

Wicket even takes it upon himself to "borrow" items from neighbors as gifts for Melissa - sometimes even liberating items from his own home, caught red-pawed!

Melissa also fosters kittens, and some are so enamored with Blinkin that they wish to join him in his shower rituals.

Blinkin is more than happy to share, knowing well that while foster siblings may come and go, his beloved shower is a constant source of joy.

 Melissa is so pleased that she has this adorable kitty in her life – it wouldn't be the same without him.
