There’s a cat that is found on top of a mountain, always in the same spot.

The locals that go walking there have called her Nabi and often bring her food.

They all know her, she’s friendly and not weary of human company at all and is happy to be stroked.

But every time one of them would try to take her down the mountain she would struggle away from them and resume her spot on the mountainside.

The locals who feed her decided to bring a vet with them so she could have a check up. They discovered that Nabi is around two years old and actually a male kitty!

He also said that the way Nabi always comes back even after running away from people’s touch means he was definitely raised by humans.

The weight gain was due to all the people that were feeding him,  and Nabi, he never refused food.

Sadly it was obvious what had happened, Nabi had been left there by his humans, abandoned. He was waiting for them to come back and get him.

The vet explained that this can often happen as a cat has no way of knowing which way to go when there is no scent for them to follow, therefore they wait in the same spot for someone to come and get them.

Sadly this loving kitty doesn’t realize that he’s been abandoned. He stays there even when it snows, waiting with the hope that he will one day be reunited with his owner.

These caring people knew that something had to done to give Nabi a better life.

So the vet trapped him and took him to the clinic, gave him a thorough examination and found that he was in good health, except that he was a bit overweight with all the food the kind people were bringing him each day.

Nabi will now stay at the clinic until a suitable family is found for him. It’s a very sad story but at least now he has a chance of becoming part of a loving family.
