When the rescuers arrived at the feral colony, something happened they really hadn’t expected – being greeted by a cat walking on her hind legs.

Roo is one of the cats that lives at the colony.  She is estimated to be about two years old, and in spite of her small stature, she has a good appetite and loves all the attention that she is getting.

The rescuers are working to collect all the cats from this colony so that they can be re-homed, but little Roo was a kitty needed a lot of help.

When they first fed her she was so hungry that she immediately wolfed down all the food she was given. Despite her deformity, Roo is doing very well, she mainly uses her back legs to get around.

Now she is finally in a good place, she is recovering well and now her true character is coming out – she is sweet and loving.

Roo is thriving in her foster home, and is going to be an indoor cat for the rest of her life.

All of the colony cats have now been rescued, including her best friend Marty, meanwhile Roo takes charge in her house and has many feline buddies to play with every day.
