The local bakery, Chickenbutt Donuts, has an unexpected, adorable mascot who adds a touch of whimsy to the whole experience.

The moment dawn breaks, the scent of freshly fried dough and heavenly sweet glazes wafts through the air, enticing locals to gather outside Chickenbutt Donuts, eagerly anticipating the opening of its doors.

However, there's one early riser who consistently outshines the human crowd – Oreo, the endearing and fluffy feline resident of Chapin.

Oreo's passion for Chickenbutt's delectable pastries is nothing short of legendary.

In fact, he's so enamored with their sweet treats that he insists on being the first to enter the bakery each morning, leaving no room for debate.

"The line starts behind this guy," Chickenbutt Donuts warmly stated on their Facebook page.

While most of the bakery staff kickstart their day in the wee hours of the morning to prepare trays of mouthwatering donuts and fritters for the 6 a.m. opening, Oreo's internal clock seems to operate on a different schedule altogether.

Whether it's the crack of dawn or the dead of night, Oreo remains ever-vigilant, eagerly awaiting the arrival of his human friends at the donut shop.

The folks at Chickenbutt Donuts love the sight of Oreo's dedication at their doorstep.

Still, their furry visitor doesn't often indulge in polite pleasantries; he's much more focused on securing the freshest, most scrumptious donut from the display.

Thankfully, the staff at Chickenbutt Donuts, along with neighboring businesses, ensure that Oreo receives the care and attention he deserves.

They consistently provide him with a steady supply of nutritious cat food and treats, prioritizing his well-being above all else.

However, there are moments when Oreo's irresistible charm and undeniable enthusiasm sway them to break their own rules.

"Chonky boy got his donut, y'all!" Chickenbutt Donuts gleefully announce.

For Oreo, there's no greater joy than sinking his teeth into a warm, delectable donut, and he expresses his gratitude to his friends at Chickenbutt Donuts through purrs and affectionate cuddles.

In the town of Chapin, residents may not always have the privilege of being the first to savor Chickenbutt Donuts' mouthwatering creations, but they bear no grudges.

 Oreo's sweet tooth is something everyone can relate to, and they wholeheartedly support their beloved neighborhood feline in realizing his daily dream.

"Oreo has been a staple in our little corner of White Rock for a good long while," they lovingly shared on Facebook. 

"It seemed like a good idea to introduce him to the world!"
