Two police officers from Texas, Adkins and Hillard, responded to a shoplifting call at TJ Max in Arlington and on the way there they were flagged down by a woman asking for their help.
The woman explained that there were two tiny kittens underneath her car.
The officers knelt down to take a look and saw two tiny faces staring back at them.
Officer Adkins carefully pulled the two kittens to safety without causing any harm.
When he got to the car the two kittens wouldn’t stop cuddling him.
The two caring officers immediately drove to a local veterinarian clinic that treated rescued animals.
According to the vet, the kittens were roughly 6 weeks old and quite healthy.
Adkins fed the kittens formula with a bottle and his heart melted as he looked down at the little cats.
He was falling more and more in love with them by the minute.
And the more time they spent with their new friend, the more the tiny kittens fell in love with him. So he quickly decided to make them part of family and named them TJ and Max!
He wasn’t expecting to add two kittens to his family but clearly it was the cats that chose him!
We’re so glad that these kittens found the purr-fect forever home.
The two kittens are now settling into their new forever home, and totally love their new dad to bits.
He may not have been planning on taking home two new family members when he went to work that day, but as soon as they cuddled up to him, he simply couldn’t resist.
