Not all shelter cats are broken, here is one cat's journey.

It all started when rescuers received a call about some kittens that were spotted living a yard. In fact, when they arrived on the scene, three litters were discovered stranded in some bushes.

The rescuers did their wonderful work and nine kitten lives were saved that day.

This adorable black and white kitten was part of one of the abandoned litters found under a bush.

They were soon taken into the care of PACT (People and Cats Together) and they could see that he was not like his siblings, something was not right.

Unfortunately for him he was born with a neurological disorder that left him unable to walk properly. Sadly, there is no cure. They named him Thumper.

In this inspiring video we follow the progress of Thumper as he overcomes his disorder.

With loads of attention and love from his carers, and with the help of a wheelchair, this joyful, loving kitty learns how to walk.

UPDATE: After nine months of therapy, Thumper has overcome his disability of Cerebellar Hypoplasia and now enjoys a normal cat's life in his forever home.
