Orangutan Dad Adopts Three Tiger Cubs !

A male orangutan at the Myrtle Beach Society in South Carolina has taken it upon himself and adopted three tiger cubs as his own.

When he saw caretakers bottle feed the little big cats, and he decided he would give it a go himself!  The delightful orangutan has rejected traditional gender roles and gives this multi-species family all the milk, cuddles and encouragement they need to grow up the become strong tigers or apes, whatever path they choose for themselves.

Once again a great example of inter-species relations involving cats!
