Alyssa Weber and Josh Stott were making the most of their quiet morning at Josh’s folks’ farm, but something was coming up that was going to be the biggest rescue mission they had ever witnessed.

Alyssa heard an odd bird-like sound in a high-pitched tone that ran around the farm.

However as she had the experience of working at Big Cat Rescue, she soon realised that it was a cry for help from a kitten.

She was very disturbed by the sound so she rushed around trying to locate the source.

It seemed to be coming from somewhere on the neighbor’s property.

So she set off and found that the sound was coming from the inside of one of the sheds.

However, the family didn’t have a relationship with the man next door, so if they tried a rescue it could be construed as trespassing on private land.

Emma, Josh’s sister, told Alyssa that she had also heard the same sound the previous night, which meant that the poor thing had been crying for more than 15 hours.

This animal caring couple knew that they had to help, so they asked the neighbor if it was possible to look inside the shed.

But the man said that he would look himself and when he returned told them he could not find anything.

Alyssa wasn’t satisfied with this so with the help of a friend she decided to trespass, because she knew that there was a kitten in trouble.

The friend said that he would go into the shed to look and before long he came out with a little kitten in his hands.

They decided to call the kitten Birdie, after the sound they heard her making.

She is now in good hands, and is receiving lots of love and attention from her rescuers.
