Odd Couple Romeo and Juliet Fall in Love on the Streets

Against all the odds love always finds a way. 

When Romeo the cat and Juliet the dog were found, they were huddled together underneath a car on the streets of  California.

The 7-month-old ginger tabby was cringing in fear with his best friend giving him a protectively cuddle. 

They were lucky to be taken to the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility, where Romeo was placed with the cats and Juliet with other dogs.

Romeo's health took a turn, the carers did all they could but nothing seemed to make a difference.

Then someone had the bright idea of reuniting Romeo with his Juliet.  As soon as he saw his doggy friend again, Romeo completely recovered! 

It was clear that these two had a strong bond, so it was decided that the only way they would find a forever home was together.
