Fishtopher the Cat Finds Forever Home After His ‘Sad Face’ Picture Goes Viral

When Fishtopher was just 5 years old, he was lovingly brought in from the streets to the warm and welcoming arms of Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center in New Jersey.
Soon after, they decided to share this👇 adorable picture on Petfinder and created a profile for him in the hope that a kind family would want to adopt him.
Everyone couldn't help but notice Fishtopher's photo, which resonated with so many hearts. And it went viral!
The world was buzzing with love for this cat. His description read:
Twitter was brimming with warm and sweet reactions to Fishtopher.
One user exclaimed: “What a beauty. And what a name.”
Another added: “I wanna give him a hug. What a handsome little cat.”
The joyous news came soon after: Fishtopher had found his forever home
Everyone was thrilled and there were many inquiries about Fishtopher’s adoption.
Laura Folts and Tanner Callahan were the lucky couple to adopt Fishtopher, and they were over the moon.
This big soft tabby didn’t take long to warm up and let his humans get to know him and his cuddly personality began to shine.
And the best thing - Fishtopher didn’t just get human parents, he also got a lot of furry siblings!
He also has a canine sibling. An elderly doggo named Gracie...
She spends most of her time lying on the sofa!
Laura shared their happiness on Twitter:
“We thought folks would cheer for his adoption and move on. But the love kept pouring in! Within minutes of our journey home, requests for photos and updates came flooding in.”
So to keep everyone in the loop, they started an Instagram for Fishtopher, showcasing his joyful moments.
They also utilized this platform to shed light on the importance of adopting cats across the USA.
In the early days, they remarked:
“We were amazed by the surge in followers. We didn't expect this attention when adopting him, so now we're channeling it to find homes for other kitties and provide the updates everyone's eager for.”
It's heartwarming to see rescue cats like Fishtopher thrive in loving homes.
And it's truly commendable how his owners use their platform to advocate for cat adoptions. They're making a significant impact.
