The frequency of the sound of purring is the same frequency at which bones and muscles repair themselves so there are some feline scientists that believe the act of purring is a healing method for cats.
Did you also know that cats can hydrate themselves with salt water?
Your kitty’s whiskers? They are some amazing spatial and environment radar that we don’t fully understand. Without them a cat would be disoriented.
And what about the mouse kingdom? Yep, Disneyland allows stray cats to live on the site as a way to keep the rodent population down (not Mickey!). They feed them, spay and neuter and make sure they get veterinary care, but otherwise these Disney kitties get free run of the park after dark.
Probably the saddest one on this list is the fact that cats are considered invasive species – who could think such a thing?!
