A toy vendor from Thailand recently shared his hilariously frustrating experience on social media of when his cat destroyed a 2,432-piece Doraemon figurine. For those of you who might not know, Doraemon is an incredibly popular character from a Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Fujiko Fuijo. According to this cat dad, he had a deadline to meet before the new year and spent over a week assembling the lego-like blocks to construct the famous character for a client and proudly took some photos of the finished product.
This playful kitty was obviously in need of some attention and decided that knocking down a 2,432-piece figurine was a powerful way to get noticed! There seemed to be no remorse as he casually laid down beside the broken model and made a cute face. Another photo shows the man picking his cat up from the floor where the accident happened and by all accounts this ginger kitty is ready for his hug. Unable to thwart his feline’s sinister but cute powers, the man has since decided that forgiveness is the only course of action. That said, this story does have a nice lesson to be learned from it. For those of us that have had a terrible 2019, the wise thing to do is forgive. And, as a footnote, never leave your cat unattended in your workplace!
After he posted the photos on Facebook, they received over 63,000 likes, were re-shared 72,000 times, and got more than 23,000 comments. Now how do you think it would be if every cat that’s ever broken something got this kind of attention? Undoubtedly the internet would be practically run by cats! Oh, hang on a minute, it already is!
