The Cat Man of Aleppo

Mohammad Alaa Jaleel lives in Aleppo in Syria where he looks after more than a hundred stray and abandoned cats. He says: “When the people left, the cats started coming to me. There were stray cats left by their owners, some left them with me knowing that I love cats. There were about 30 or so cats, a year later and there are over a hundred.”
Mohammed spends his time and money looking after the cats and has created a wonderful sanctuary for the cats to live in. What an amazing story about a very brave man with a very big heart.
