Cat’s Family Throws Quinceanera Party for Feline’s 15th Birthday

When Luna was only 3 weeks old, The Olavarria family found her wandering along the side of the road. So of course what else could they do, so they decided to adopt her.

They have spoiled her with endless love and attention ever since, and when her 15th birthday was approaching, they decided to throw her a very special party.

A quinceañera is a cultural tradition and rite of passage where a girl’s 15th birthday is marked with a big celebration.

Because of the love they have for Luna, the family decided that she needed one, too.

“Luna is an absolute sweetheart, loves curling up with people and loves laying on her back on the floor,” said Luna’s brother.

“We have spoiled her with abundant love and she has outlived all of our pets. On her 15th birthday we decided to give our little cheese ball a surprise quinceañera.”

Olavarria’s mama came up with the idea almost a year before, she began working on plans for the party and made sure there would be lots of food, a cat friendly cake and decorations,

There were invitations to send out and of course, a dress for the birthday girl.

Luna is 15 years old with very few teeth, but she has a big family that loves her to bits.
