The Pallas cat, also called a Manul cat, is considered the most expressive cat in the world.

They live in the grasslands and montane steppes of Central Asia and have now been classified a near threatened species. This is due to habitat degradation, climate change and their primary food source being poisoned in large numbers as humans consider them a pest.

Pallas’ cats, while adorable to look at, should not be kept as pets. Not only is it difficult for them to survive at low altitudes, but they are truly wild animals. A Pallas’ cat kept as a pet would be truly miserable, and would probably make you miserable, too.
