Hero Cat Saves One Year-Old Baby From Falling Down The Stairs

A cat from Colombia is being hailed as a hero and it’s for all the right reasons. The feline pounced on a crawling toddler and now is being credited with saving the baby’s life. A video of the incident made its way onto social media and has evoked a warm fuzzy feeling in many. There’s a chance that after watching the viral clip you’ll feel the same too.
In this video, taken with a security cam, we see a baby crawling around on the floor while the cat sits on a nearby couch. Within a few seconds, and this is why you should never leave your child alone in an unsafe environment, the baby makes her way towards an open door. Before she reaches it, the cat pounces and latches onto the little one and pulls her away, stopping her from falling down the stairs. This kitty is definitely a hero in our books. Many people have quite rightly criticized the parents for leaving their child unsupervised with an open door that leads to a flight of stairs. And even though cats are smart creatures, they clearly aren’t suitable to act as nannies for human babies.
