When a fire recently broke out in someone’s backyard there was no one home, but luckily, the neighbors were there to quickly put it out. Then, just when they thought there were no victims, they saw a tiny paw reaching for help under the pieces of wood. There she was – a tiny kitten that was badly burnt from the fire.

She was rushed to the local RSPCA where they tended her wounds. As we was found in the remains of a fire, they thought it appropriate to call her Phoenix. At first they feared for the worse, but with painkillers and lots of care and attention, she was on the road to recovery.
