Larry the Cat: Only Downing Street Resident Certain of Home Following Hung Parliament

Larry the Cat has been spotted sitting proudly outside 10 Downing Street this morning, after a hung parliament in the UK’s General Election. Amid a quiet moment, as the media waits for UK Prime Minister Theresa May to make a statement, Larry the Cat once again stole the show.

In a hung parliament, the Conservative government will remain in office until it is decided who will form a new government as a majority. Although there is no official time limit, the decision is expected to take shape by June 13, when the new parliament meets for the first time. If this cannot be decided, PM Theresa May will be expected to resign.
